Lawrence Trailer

Band Leader • Lead Singer • Acoustic Guitarist • MC

Whether joined by a 12-piece live band, a DJ-Hybrid experience, or an intimate SOLO performance, Lawrence Trailer’s abilities and showmanship keep audiences inspired from start to finish. Trailer offers an array of styles and genres, including Pop, Rock, Folk, Soul, Country, Americana, R&B, Disco, Bluegrass, and more. Lawrence also creates unique renditions of popular songs and invents genre-blending medleys that entertain clients with varying musical tastes.

Lucas Shine

Music Director • Guitar • Vocals

Lucas Shine is a professional guitarist, guitar teacher, and composer with over a decade of experience in the events industry. His extensive knowledge of music theory combined with a keen ability to communicate makes Lucas an incredibly effective music director.

Jess Birch

Drums • Percussion

Jess Birch is a percussionist and owner/operator of Good Hands Drum Shop in Midtown Manhattan. His wealth of performance experience is an asset for any occasion. 

Lavondo Thomas

Bass

Lavondo Thomas is an NYC-based multi-instrumentalist who has performed internationally with world-renowned artists like Daisy Jopling, Ana Popovic, Josh Canfield, and more. He has studied privately with Felix Pastorius, Dr. Mark Morton (Principle Bassist of Columbus Symphony), Douglas Richeson (Tony Bennett unplugged, Phil Collins), and Janek Gwizdala.

Recently signing to Ropeadope Records with his band The Flowdown, Lavondo also served as Assistant musical director for Echoes of Etta (2014 MAC Award for Show of the Year), Asst. Music Director for vocalist William Blake (New York Nightlife Award for Outstanding Male Jazz Vocalist), member of Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution (2011 independent music award best live performance), and bassist for 50 Shades! The Musical.

Bryan Smith

Bryan Smith is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer, who’s worked in the entertainment industry for over three decades. Whether on bass, keys, guitar, or mandolin, Bryan is an undeniable presence on and off stage. 

Tom McCaffrey

Guitar • Vocals • Sound Engineer

Tom McCaffrey is a modern guitarist and songwriter from Brooklyn. He is a founding member of the band Civilians, performs with The Liza Colby Sound and Mountain Girl, and most recently is concentrating on his solo work. Tom has worked as a guitarist with the NASCAR awards ceremony houseband and backed up legendary artists such as Gloria Gaynor, John Wetton from King Crimson, and more. Besides his performance abilities, Tom owns and operates Rad Hazard Studios in Brooklyn, recording and producing artists from around the world.

Eden Simone

Vocals • Percussion

Eden Simone is a professional vocalist and vocal coach from New York. She manages and performs with The New York Belles all-female acapella quartet and her retro-modern harmony band Crème de la Crème. She also performs alongside Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Orchestra and her sister’s original indie pop music project RÈN with the Mane. She thrives on high-energy performance, lots of dancing, and vocal harmonies!

Charly Kay

Charly Kay is a third-generation vocalist with over two decades of experience under her belt. From live music, to film, to theater and television.. Charly’s main focus in life has been to entertain the masses.

Allison Kelly

Vocals • Banjo • Guitar • Bass • Percussion

Making a name for herself with gymnastic upright-bass skills and her multi-instrumental talents, Allison has toured the country for nearly a decade.

While based in New York City, her love for the road has kept her busy performing original music, touring with notable tribute acts Not Fade Away: Rock n’ Roll Reignited! And Darlin’ Companion: Johnny and June Carter Cash. Theatre: The Other Josh Cohen, American Idiot, The Hello Girls, Almost Heaven: John Denver’s America, Ring of Fire. Television: “The Helpsters” for Apple TV+. Allison has toured with bands playing notable tours and venues such as Capitol Concerts July 4th Celebration, Warped Tour, and provided backup vocals for The Tony Awards. Allison and longtime collaborator Kendra Jo Brook created “Ramblin’ Rose: the Women who made country music”. Allison is particularly proud to helm an all female creative team for this project.

Allison helms and writes for Southpaw Green, streaming on all major platforms.

Alex Silver

Saxaphone

Alex Blade Silver is a sax phe-nom! He got his bachelors in music performance, has toured the country multiple times with numerous bands, and has performed over 100 weddings and parties around the country. Alex brings his infectious energy and professionalism to every performance!

Joe Gullace

Trumpet

Joe Gullace is a trumpet player from Millstone Township, NJ. He is most known for recording and touring with progressive rock band Thank You Scientist. When home from touring, he continues to perform with more than a dozen New Jersey acts such as The Shady Street Show Band, Karmic Juggernaut, We Used to Cut the Grass, and Chris Pinnella. He has also performed with international acts such as Village People, The Kings of Disco, and Ike Willis (on tour with We Used to Cut the Grass). When not performing, he is recording in his home studio. In addition to recording trumpet on numerous records, he composes, arranges, and produces his own music. He plays this music frequently with the Brooklyn based rock band Civilians, playing trumpet and Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI). Joe also plays drums in math rock bands Wamena and Swinehaus.

Ray Long

Trombone • DJ • Sound Engineer

Ray Long’s work as a trombonist, as well as multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer, has taken him all over the United States and beyond. As a performing artist, he’s collaborated with diverse musicians ranging from Cory Wong to The Village People, and opened big theater shows for touring acts including Marshall Tucker Band and NRBQ. Ray has also been a recording engineer in NYC for 7+ years, serving as staff engineer at WhiteWater Studios in Union Square, and personal assistant engineer for multi-platinum and Grammy winning producer Dave Tozer. Select clients include John Legend, HER, Mario, Columbia Records, Audible, and more.

Chunbo Cheng

Sound Engineer

Chunbo Cheng is a guitarist and audio engineer that specializes in live sound for weddings and special events.

Matt Graff

Percussionist

Matt Graff is a freelance drummer and audio engineer. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he is the owner of the Koop recording studios in Irvington, NY.  Graff has performed with a wide variety of artists in the U.S. and Europe, including Midge Ure, Paul Young, Emily Saliers (of the Indigo Girls), Dorrance Dance, Toshi Reagon, The Life and Music of George Michael, An Endless Sporadic, and The Brighton Beat. He also performs with his original projects Mr. Clifford and Calaspera. As a producer and engineer, Matt’s experiences range from producing an album with legendary songwriter Gary Portnoy, to recording podcasts hosted by Guy Raz and mixing theme songs for CBS sports.

Juan Pablo Pastor

Percussionist

Juan Pablo Pastor— from San Luis, Argentina, is an award winning drummer and percussionist. After graduating from high school in 2000, Juan Pablo moved to Santiago de Chile and studied piano, music theory and drums under the supervision of Roberto Zamora at the distinguished Academy of Sociedad Chilena de Los Derechos de Autor. In 2003, Juan returned to Mendoza, Argentina where he studied for ten years under the tutelage of world-renowned drummer and winner of the 2001 international competition “Modern Drummer Weekend Contest” Gustavo Meli. In 2013 he moved to New York City to further pursue a professional career as a drummer.

Tynan Hooker-Haring

Bassist

Tynan Hooker-Haring is a multi-instrumentalist from Allentown, PA. His live and studio work has taken him from regional theaters on the Mississippi, to Off-Broadway shows in NYC. The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival has been host to his bass talents for their 2010, 2012, 2015-2019, and 2022 seasons. Beginning in 2009, Tynan has tracked upright and electric bass, guitar, cello, vocals, arranged vocals and strings, and produced a half-a-dozen independent recordings. Since 2014, Tynan has been the first-call bassist for the Blues Brotherhood: the Ultimate Tribute to the Blues Brothers, which featured original Blues Brothers, Tom “Bones” Malone and the late, great “Mr. Fabulous” Alan Rubin.

Gina Benalcazar

Bass Trombone

Gina Benalcazar — New York City based low brass specialist Gina Benalcazar is one of the most in demand doublers on the scene. Having degrees in both Classical Performance and Jazz Studies, Gina’s playing can be described as having deep understanding of the Bass Trombone and jazz harmony and language. Under the mentorship of artists such as Michael Dease, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Luis Bonilla, David Gibson, and Doug Purviance, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most prolific band leaders. She can be found playing with The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, The Roy Hargrove Big Band, Etienne Charles’ Creole Soul, The Rufus Reid Big Band, and others. In 2017 she won the seat of Bass Trombonist for Rodney Whitaker’s Jazz Orchestra at Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando Florida, is the Bass Trombonist of the Dee Dee Bridgewater Big , holds a Tenor Trombone seat in the Ulysses Owens Jr. New Century Big Band and holds the Bass Trombone seat in David Gibson’s Big Band. She’s also played as a sideperson with various ensemble orientations and worked in education with artists such as Michael Dease, Alon Yovnai, Chris Potter, Michael Mossman, Rodney Whitaker, David Gibson, Luis Bonilla, Marshall Gilkes, Conrad Herwig, Kenny Rampton, Marlene Rosenburg, and many more. She is also one of the Administrative Faculty at the Brevard Jazz Institute, under the direction of Michael Dease.
