WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE BOOKING?
Start with the kind of energy you want at your event — that’s more important than specific songs. Do you picture a packed dance floor all night? An elegant jazz trio during dinner? A DJ keeping the party going until 2am? Once we understand your vision, we’ll recommend the right act and configuration. If you’re comparing entertainment options, ask every company one question: Who exactly will be performing at my event? Many larger companies hire freelance musicians clients can’t verify beforehand. At Trailer Entertainment, every performer is vetted, and we guarantee your lineup in writing.

Absolutely. We can meet in person at our SoHo office, over video call, or by phone — whatever works best. Bring your partner, your planner, whoever you’d like. No pressure, no sales pitch. Let’s just talk about your event and see if we’re the right fit.
HOW DOES PRICING WORK?
Our packages are all-inclusive with no hidden costs. Pricing varies based on the act, band size, event duration, and location. During your consultation, we’ll provide a detailed quote tailored to your specific event. We’re transparent about what’s included so there are no surprises.
DO I NEED TO PAY IN ADVANCE?
To confirm your date, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due closer to your event (timing varies by package). We accept Zelle, Venmo, wire transfer, or mailed check — whatever’s easiest for you.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
As early as possible. We regularly book 12-24 months out, and prime dates (especially Saturdays in peak season) go quickly. Early booking also gives us more time to prepare your music, coordinate with your vendors, and ensure everything is perfect.
CAN WE CHOOSE WHAT SONGS YOU PLAY?
Yes — and we take requests seriously. Our repertoire includes 2,000+ songs across every genre, and we’re always learning new material. For weddings, we guarantee your first dance, parent dances, and ceremony music — even if it’s not already in our book. You’ll have input on the setlist, and we’ll work together to create the right flow for your event.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A TRAILER & THE HITCH WEDDING PACKAGE?
All packages are all-inclusive: Lawrence Trailer as MC, lead vocalist, and band leader Travel within 200 miles of NYC Professional audio for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception Stage lighting for the reception Wireless microphones for officiant and speeches Live ceremony performance (solo or duo) Cocktail hour music (live upgrade available) 4-hour reception with your selected band configuration.
WHAT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?
We plan for contingencies so you don’t have to worry. Every contract includes emergency provisions, backup equipment is standard, and our team arrives early to troubleshoot any venue surprises. In over a decade of events, Lawrence has personally performed at every flagship booking — and that’s not changing.
HOW DOES THE PLANNING PROCESS WORK?
After booking, you’ll receive a comprehensive client questionnaire covering every detail — music preferences, timeline, special moments, vendor contacts, and more. This becomes our shared planning document. You’ll have direct access to our team throughout the process, and we coordinate with your planner and venue to ensure seamless execution.
HOW DO I GUARANTEE MY DATE?
Once we receive your signed agreement and deposit, your date is locked. We stop accepting inquiries for that date immediately. You’re confirmed — no competing holds, no uncertainty.
