NYC’s hottest swing band for over two decades. Led by vocalist and trombonist John Kozan—whose style channels Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, and Louis Prima while remaining uniquely his own—Double Down shuffles classic lounge grooves into modern pop smashes, swingin’ everything from the Great American Songbook to Nirvana, Beyoncé to Metallica, and beyond. The band’s members have performed at NYC’s most iconic jazz venues—Birdland, Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, Smoke, BB King’s—and shared stages with Wynton Marsalis, Mavis Staples, Cab Calloway, Alicia Keys, and The Roots. They’ve brought the party to the Waldorf Astoria, corporate galas, weddings, and dance halls across the city with vintage Vegas vibes and an edgy twist.
